These videos were taken during an awesome open-shoot fireworks weekend held May 8–9, 2026, in Southeast Kansas. Pyro fans from around the area came together to hang out, shoot fireworks, trade product, and light up the sky with everything from daytime effects to late-night pyromusicals inspired by the old-school SizzBoom demo days. The shows were pretty far away (more than I realized), so I ended up cropping things down a bit - if things look a bit more fuzzy than normal - that's why.

THIS BOOM CHICK IS PUMPED! I had to stay home (I'm a little sick right now) but a huge win for Dad. Thank you to Mike Allen and thank you Chris O'Dell for being the best guys. I like nice people! He won both the People's Choice and the Grand Champion Award! Dad said this: "This show was 5.5 months of careful planning, sourcing, scripting and changing. It featured Dominator Pro, '76 Proline, T-Sky Pro, Raccoon Pro, '76 Italia, Epic Proline, Miracle Pro, Wizard Pro, Kellner's proline items, Pyroland and so much more consumer product. 80 different item types hand picked for a four and a half minute show featuring 1,460 timed events. KCAP you are the best support team. Thank you to Brian Smith, Cameron, Curtis-Mary Bertoldie, Frank M, Mike Fondaw, Micheal B, Noah, Rick T, Phillip Bowden, Zach H, Chris S, and Brandon S.
